Mentoring and Coaching
1) Qn: What is your fee for mentoring?
A: I have a standard fee for an hour and a half mentoring session. However, there is some flexibility - for instance, for voluntary organisations with limited funds.
In-House Training
1) Qn: How far will you travel to put on in-house training?
A: While most of my work is in the North East, I also quite frequently travel to Hull or to Scotland, where I am bought in to run in-house training workshops, or to run open workshops. I also occasionally run workshops internationally, especially in Greece. Do phone to ask.

Supervision Certificate
1) Qn: What if I am unable to attend all of the training? Can I still get a certificate at the end of the course?
A: Ideally you would attend all weekends. Sufficient hours must be obtained to get a full certificate. Because some of the training is in psychodrama action techniques, it may be possible to build up missed hours by attending other approved training with me or with colleagues. Do phone if you need to.
Supervision
1) Qn: Do you do group supervision, as well as individual?
A: Yes. I do this for groups from two to eight people.
Counselling
1) Qn: Do you work with children?
A: I only offer short-term work with children. Typical things include phobias, such as: never having been able to do sleepovers despite a strong desire to; or an unreasonable fear of heights preventing the climbing of stairs or use of lifts.
Open Workshops
1) Qn: How can I find out more about a course?
A: In addition to the information on this website and available as downloads, you can phone me during the day or early evening (leave a message if I’m not available), or you can email me. I understand that everyone is different, and that there will always be some questions that haven't been answered in written material.
2) Qn: Can you recommend any local accomodation?
A: Yes. When you sign up to a workshop I can send you a list by email or post.
Psychodrama
1) Qn: I know that psychodrama events are available through NSP, and that you run or co-run some of those events. Are there other ways you offer psychodrama?
A: Yes, including as:
- Open Workshops, an example being The Memory Lingers On: A Primal Look at Attachment. This is a weekend workshop in Newcastle upon Tyne, 26-27 September 2009.
- On request I run In-House Training psychodrama courses including "Using Action Techniques in One-to-One Work with Clients", also courses aimed at Psychodrama Techniques for Trainers, or for Youth Workers, or for those working for the elderly; and basic introductory courses.
- The Creative Supervision Certificate training teaches some psychodrama techniques.
- My work with counselling or supervision clients makes use of psychodrama as appropriate.
2) Qn: I am a psychodrama student. Do all the psychodrama courses you run count towards external hours?
A: Yes, because I am a psychodrama trainer, hours spent on any psychodrama course I run count as external hours.
